In 2006, she formed her own young children’s dance program, “Children’s Creative Dance Club,” and in 2011 she founded The Ballet Club. From 2011 until 2022 The Ballet Club provided a dedicated space for training students from ages as young as two years to students as old as 72 years. The Ballet Club produced numerous shows and presentations including an annual production of “The Nutcracker & The Mouse King” and annual spring concerts of original choreography showcasing students’ work.
The Ballet Club now continues as an educational resource for ballet lovers of all ages and offers a limited number of classes for young children as well as private instruction for students of all ages and abilities.
Ms. Easterling-Freifelder believes that ballet is so much more than being a “ballerina.” For those who discover it, ballet is an astonishing and endlessly fascinating discipline that can become a life-long practice, regardless of whether or not a person has the interest to become a performer.
