NEW Children’s Ballet Arts Day Camp
June 19 – September 1

The Ballet Club provides a creative, nurturing, and fun Ballet Arts Summer Day Program Mondays through Fridays, 9:30 am until 2:30 pm (extended hours are available) for ages 3.5 – 8 years.  Drop-off in the morning is between 9:00 and 9:30 am.

All activities are taught by teachers with extensive training in their field and who are experienced working with children. There are a maximum of 12 students per group, with a staff on hand of at least one adult per five children.

Activities include ballet every day, either in the morning or in the afternoon, creative dance, drama, yoga, music, ballet history/story time, “costume shop” crafts such as creating tiaras, headpieces, and fairy wands, and outdoor activities.  In nice weather, students go to the park for lunch.

Children’s Movement & Art Day Camp June 19 – September 1

The Ballet Club and Little Picasso Children’s Art Studio join forces to provide a creative, nurturing, and fun Movement and Art Summer Program Mondays through Fridays, 9:30 am until 2:30 pm for children ages 3.5 to 8 (extended hours are available).

All activities are taught by teachers with extensive training in their field and who are experienced working with children. There are a maximum of 12 students per group, with a staff on hand of at least one adult per five children.

Activities include ballet, creative dance, drama, yoga, art projects including air dry clay projects and three dimensional painting, and outdoor activities.

All movement and drama classes are held at The Ballet Club at 328 East 61st Street, Second Floor. All art classes are held at Little Picasso Children’s Art Studio across the street at 313 East 61st Street.

All activities are taught by teachers with extensive training in their field and who are experienced working with children. There are a maximum of 12 students per group, with a staff on hand of at least one adult per five children.

SUMMER INTENSIVES! Session I:  July 10 – August 4 / Session II: August 7 – September 1

The Ballet Club Intensive offers 3 hours of training per day, five days a week, for students ages 7-14, and is an outstanding opportunity to rapidly improve and strengthen a student’s artistry and fluency in ballet technique. The training includes daily ballet technique class, and alternating days of modern dance, floor barre, ballet history, drama, composition, and choreography, including The Nutcracker Project. Play Space at The Ballet Club

PLAY SPACE HOURS:

Mondays – Fridays, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm*, September 12 – June 1
*closed on holidays, and for the months of June, July, and August.

FEES:

General Public: $15 per hour per child
Students currently enrolled in classes at The Ballet Club: $10 per hour per
child (free for students and their siblings 30 minutes before and after their class.)

ARRIVAL TIMES:

Please arrive on the hour or half past the hour. If it is your first visit to the Play Space, please arrive 5 minutes early in order to register.
